Mixed media collage painting on birch wooden panel. Multiple layers of hand printed papers, magazine image transfers and paint mediums have been implemented into creating the build up and excavated grungy textural layers. This painting may be hung on the wall as is, or placed into a floating frame (not included).

Within the urban setting, my artwork reflects the emotions of solitude, a touch of melancholy, and a thread of optimism. Transitioning to a new place and embracing a different culture involves a subtle loss of self, a sense of confusion, and detachment. The contrasting elements in the piece, with darker tones representing past challenges and lighter areas symbolizing hope, aim to convey the journey of navigating change and the aspiration for a fresh start within the vibrant cityscape.
